It has been a while since I have shared a gratitude list. Making a list of all I am grateful for helps me reframe my mind when it starts drifting downwards towards the negative and it never fails to give me a boost of energy and a feeling of peace. If you haven’t done it before it’s really easy – just grab a pen and some paper or your chosen device and start writing. You can go big and focus on people you are grateful to have in your life or go small and focus on the little things that otherwise you may not notice. Sometimes I can fill a page in my tiny handwriting but today I have a list of ten things that right now in this moment I am particularly grateful for and I am going small, focussing on my morning routine.
1. Coffee
2. My dressing gown and slippers
3. Extra blankets on the bed ❄️❄️❄️
4. Carpets on the floor that make it easier to get out of bed
5. Showers
6. Nice smelling shower gel and shampoo
7. A fluffy towel
8. The hairdryer and hair straighteners
9. Scones for breakfast
10. My watch
