Spring Holidays – walking at Kohimarama Beach

On Monday morning we headed down to the beach for a stroll. It was a bit cloudy but the sun poking through the clouds was just beautiful. I love the beach and being by the ocean is absolutely my favourite thing to do. It isn’t quite the weather for braving the water yet and dipping toes in for a paddle, but the warmth of the sunshine on our skin yesterday was a reminder that summer is coming. It is time to make the most of the lovely fresh Spring weather and get outside as much as we can.

I love this old Danish proverb – “fresh air keeps the doctor poor” and personally I never feel better than when I am outside in the light, breathing deeply and just taking the time to be.
